Grades: 10th-Adult. Level 2-5. Looking for a mind-body practice done to music that will challenge your whole body while calming your mind? Weight training through the use of your own body weight will increase your lean body mass while improving your stamina, strength, flexibility, balance and body alignment. Various level options will be demonstrated so you can easily create your own practice. Any yoga or Pilates experience is recommended. Practiced barefoot. You just need a mat and water bottle. Instructor: Victoria Cendrowski, M.Ed, over 45 years experience. 9 classes.
Biography:
Victoria Cendrowski has been teaching many forms of dance, fitness and yoga since 1971. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance from Eastern Michigan University, along with a teacher's certification. Victoria earned her Master of Education degree in the Science of Human Movement with an emphasis in Personal Training from Wayne State University. Her professional career includes Dance Program Director, K-12 Physical Education Teacher, Wellness Coach and producer of her own Yoga Pilates videos. Victoria has been working for Rec & Ed since 1990, was Rec & Ed's Fitness & Yoga Program Supervisor for 30 years and is currently teaching Yoga Pilates. Victoria is passionate about wellness and loves creating community in her classes.
