Description: Grades: 10th - Adult. Level 1 Beginning/Intermediate: Huis Clos de Jean-Paul Sartre. Improve your French through the reading and discussion of this classic play by 20th century French existentialist philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre! Over this 4 week virtual session, we practice pronunciation and fluency in reading French as well as make strides in reading comprehension. You have an opportunity to schedule 20 minute “virtual coffee” chats with the instructor throughout the class series for extra support or extra conversation practice. Instructor will email handouts. Biography: Towela Okwudire hails from Vancover, B.C. Canada where she received her Bachelors of Education in French Immersion in 2009. She currently teaches French Immersion in a high school program for gifted children and lives with her husband in the Ann Arbor area.
