Description
In this follow-up workshop to Chine Colle Collage and Composition with Ouida Touchon, students will further develop their skills in Chine Colle Collage, though beginners are welcome.
Building on the compositional rules explored in the first session, this workshop will introduce fine cutting and tearing techniques. Students will work at tables with barens, paste, and scissors to create their compositions, collaging fragments of archival papers onto base sheets of heavy paper. With a vast selection of paper fragments in various colors provided, there will be plenty of flexibility regarding color and proportions. Additionally, students will learn the protocol for signing each artwork.
Please note: While this session builds on the first, it is a standalone workshop that is open to both beginner and new students.
