Week 7 AM | Robotics: Amusement Park Tycoon | Franklin

Week 3 | July 10th-14th | 9am-12pm | Franklin Rec Center

In this camp, we'll be teaching robotics concepts while building our own models of amusement park rides. Campers will be building their own versions of bumper cars, Ferris wheels, trains, spinning rides, go-karts and roller coasters. We'll be building 2 robots/rides each day while teaching campers about gears, axles, switches, dc and servo motors, LEDs, IR sensors, mainboards, wired and wireless controllers and more. Some 'rides' will be completed by one camper while others will require a team effort where all the campers to come together to make the 'ride' extra thrilling!

With all of our robotics camps, we'll be encouraging the amusement park designers (along with some help from our master engineers) to customize and improve upon their original designs. Instructor: RoboThink Staff
