UMKC Double Reed Institute 2025

UMKC Double Reed Institute provides students (grades 8-12) the opportunity to work with UMKC double reed faculty and participate in clinics related to double reed performance. Double reed (oboe and bassoon) students will benefit from learning to play music in a variety of settings including warm-up sessions, master classes, lessons, and discussion clinics. Clinic topics will include practice techniques, performance anxiety, stage presence, musicianship, reed-making and opportunities for playing music in college.
