Description
Suburban Ice instructional staff will run each session, with the assistance of parent volunteers. For the parent coaches, the on-ice sessions are part of a season-long coaching education program. The pre-requisite for coaches for the Mighty Mites is desire and commitment - no previous coaching experience necessary. Equipment required: skates, helmet, gloves and stick. USA Hockey Membership, Background Screen and SafeSport Training will also be required.

The Level 1 Mighty Mites program skates once a week on Saturdays at 10am. Emphasis on creating a fun, challenging environment for players to learn the beginning principles of skating in hockey equipment, stickhandling and puck skills. Volunteer coaches must register with USA Hocky and complete additional prerequisites.
