Still Life in
Gouache is a perfect place for beginners and intermediate painters to hone in
observation skills and color work. In this class, students will get a better
understanding of creating form, building a composition, and making a vibrant
still-life painting. During class, there will be a still-life set up for
students to observe, and Maggie will explain how to break down the objects
into simple shapes and forms, as well as help you make decisions on how to
compose and color the painting. We will use and practice with gouache, a
unique medium between oil paint and watercolor. Goauche paints provided.
