Learn how to create an engaging and richly colored still life composition based on nature. You will learn how to create a still life from natural objects, both in the studio and outside in nature itself. Basic design techniques and color theory will be taught. And skills in using colored pencils such as layering, blending and outlining will also be given. We will work from photos in the studio as we develop colored pencil skills and then in later weeks move outside to draw from nature. Basic drawing skills are required.
