In this 2 week workshop, students will learn to learn and discover the art of watercolor through beautiful landscape painting. Starting out with the basics of learning to control the medium, students will learn to understand atmosphere, perspective, texture, lighting, and color by painting various landscape scenes. Using photo references or our real-world surroundings, we will build a collection of at least four different landscapes. Students are required to bring their own watercolor pad (11”x17” or bigger), a sketchbook of their choice, and a pencil. All other painting materials will be provided.
