This printmaking class will further explore the monoprinting techniques using Gelli plates. We will look at works by printmakers such as Jim Dine, Wayne Thiebaud, Andy Warhol, and Henri Matisse. Students will create a series of still life, portrait, landscape and abstract monoprints inspired by the masters. We will experiment with materials such as ball pens, posca markers, alcohol inks, and more! Previous experience with gelli plate printmaking is advised. Materials provided.
