Sewing Camp

Come and learn some basic sewing techniques such as sewing machine operation, simple pattern reading and sewing project construction. We will practice threading your machine, straight line stitching, keeping a seam allowance, pinning and cutting out a pattern. Students are encouraged to bring their own sewing machine, otherwise a machine will be made available for a $10.00 rental for the length of the camp. Daily activities include two sessions of sewing, a pre-packaged snack and recess. A $40 lab fee is payable to the instructor on the first day of camp.
