Description
Parent Coaches have been and continue to be a vital key to the success of the Royal Oak Hockey Club. The pre-requisite for coaches for the Mites is desire and commitment - no previous coaching experience necessary. Equipment required: skates, helmet, gloves and stick. USA Hockey Membership, Background Screen, SafeSport Training and Age Module will also be required. The ROHC Hockey Operations Manager will support all coaches in all areas and will provide practice plans and directions. Meets 3 times a week. Mondays and Thursdays at 6:45pm and Saturdays at 12pm.

Program runs approximately 25 weeks from September through March on Mondays and Thursdays at 6:45pm and Saturdays at 12pm. Sessions run by ROHC Instructors with the help of parent volunteers. Volunteer coaches must register with USA Hockey and complete additional prerequisites.
