Ballet Contemporary 3 (July)

The City of Redlands Recreation Division is pleased to offer Advanced Ballet pointe/ contemporary for children ages 12-17 every Monday of the week from 6:30p.m. – 8:00p.m. at the Gonzales Community Center Dance Studio. These classes are generously offered through the City of Redlands and taught by Lorraine Montemayor.

Lorraine Montemayor is a well experienced dance instructor who has brought her knowledge to the children of Redlands and led several of the city’s dance programs for many years.

Advanced Ballet Pointe/ Contemporary Details:

• Location: Gonzales Community Center Dance Studio, 111 W Lugonia Ave, in Redlands

• Fee: $45 for four sessions (July $22.50)

• Date/Time: Mondays at 6:30p.m. – 8:00p.m. This class is recurring starts at the beginning every month.

• Participants must have some ballet experience and teacher recommendation.

• Dancers will need stretchable clothing and beige contemporary shoes.

Pointe/contemporary ballet is the perfect way to learn more complex ballet technique! Our highly trained instructor Lorraine Montemayor will cover ballet barre, flexibility stretches, center and across floor combinations. Emphasis will be on intermediate technique.
