Description
This is the beginning stages where children learn the fundamentals of baseball and teamwork. Players at the end of this instructional program should have learned how to swing properly, run bases, attempt to field ground balls and where to throw them, all in an environment of fun and sportsmanship.
- 1st two weeks will be 30 minutes of drills followed by 30 minutes of scrimmaging.
- The rest of the program, we will combine the skills that we have learned and play games with no outs or score being kept.
- Each player will receive a T-Shirt.
- Session times will either be at 6 p.m. OR 7 p.m. (one hour session each).
- Rosters/schedule will be sent prior to the start date via email.
- Please bring your own glove, all other equipment will be provided.
- Batters get 6 pitches from the instructor to hit the ball. If not, the player hits off a tee.
