Dance: Level 1A Ballet & Jazz (9-11yrs) Wednesday 6:00pm

Our Level 1 weekly dance class gives our dancers the opportunity to study ballet and jazz in one class setting. Students learn proper technique and alignment and develop strength and endurance. Dance class is an excellent time to develop self-awareness and self-management, and these skills go with the dancer after they leave the studio. A typical class structure includes exercises done at the barre, in center and across the floor. Dancers will receive one ballet costume and one jazz costume. Two costume fees ($83 each) are required to participate in the end of semester performance and is due to On Pointe the first week of class. Costume fees are made payable to On Pointe the first week of class. Dancers with more than two costume fees will receive additional costumes at a discount. Students interested in expanding their abilities and talents are encouraged to simultaneously enroll in other Level 1 classes, Kids Lyrical Jazz and Kids Hip Hop.
