Dance: Level 2B Ballet/PrePointe (11-15yrs) Wednesday 4:15pm

Our Level 2B class dance class gives our dancers the opportunity to focus on their study of ballet. Students learn proper technique and alignment. Dance class is an excellent time to develop self-awareness and self-management, and these skills go with the dancer after they leave the studio. During this class, students are individually assessed for pointe shoe approval. A typical class structure includes exercises done at the barre, in center and across the floor. A $78 costume fee is required to participate in the end of semester performance, and is due to On Pointe the first week of class. Students interested in expanding their abilities and talents are encouraged to simultaneously enroll in other Level 2 classes, Lyrical and Contemporary Jazz and/or a Hip Hop class.
