Description
Lyrical Jazz is a weekly dance class designed to introduce expression into a dancer’s technical skills. They will learn how to tell a story through their dance as they learn lyrical jazz techniques. While previous dance experience is helpful, we welcome new dancers. A $78 costume fee is required to participate in the end of semester performance, and is due to On Pointe the first week of class. Students interested in expanding their abilities and talents are encouraged to simultaneously enroll in other Level 1 classes and/or Kids Hip Hop.

Equipment Needed: Dance attire is required and lyrical shoes or “Foot Undeez” are encouraged.
Registration Requirements: N/A
Skip Dates: Classes start January 8 and end May 11. There are no classes held March 18-23 for Spring Break. Dress rehearsals are May 9 and May 10, and performances are May 11 (no regularly scheduled classes held this week).
