Acting Shakespeare: Shakespeare's Forests (10-14yrs)

In Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and As You Like It, the forest is a place of change and opportunity. Students will discover how to bring Shakespeare's words to life by examining scripts to create character, learning the fundamentals of working with a director and scene partner, and performing selected scenes. By the end of the class, you and your new peers will showcase your scene work.
