Dance: Hip Hop for Teens (12-18yrs) Tuesday 5:30pm

Locking, popping, funk and break dancing are all part of the Hip Hop family. For the past 50 years, this dance genre has made its journey from urban roots to the mainstream crowd. Previous dance experience is not required, as we keep it clean doing hip hop with teens. Dancers will participate in the end-of-semester performance and be required to acquire a simple costume.

Level of Instruction: Intermediate and Advanced

Skills Learned: Hip hop, locking, popping, funk, floor work and breakdancing.
