Description
Students in this level have had previous dance experience and display and execute proper technique and placement while continuing to expand their repertoire. During ballet, students are individually assessed for pointe shoe approval. Students are technically advanced enough to enjoy focusing on the breath and quality of movement as they already have an understanding of the technique. Classes are designed to warm the body gradually to enable them to execute progressively bigger and more difficult moves as well as to prevent injury. This class performs on stage in the end of semester recital.
Level 3B dancers should simultaneously enroll in Level 3A or 4 classes and Contemporary & Modern Dance on Tuesday nights.

Equipment Needed: Black dance leotard and pink ballet tights with ballet slippers and jazz pants or shorts with dance top and jazz shoes /“Foot Undeez.” Hair should be pulled away from the face.
Registration Requirements: Our dancers have the unique experience of performing on the PACE Center Main Stage in our end of semester performance.
A $70 costume purchase required to participate in spring recital is due to On Pointe on the first week of class.
Skip Dates: There are no classes on Spring Break (March 13-18). Classes start January 16 and end May 24. Performance week is May 22-24.
