Go Explore: Girls in the Outdoors

This outdoor skills-focused camp will take students to the next level in outdoor preparedness. Youth that are new, intermediate, or advanced will all find a path that adds to their knowledge and ability. Participants will gain knowledge useful for single day outdoor trips, more extended hiking excursions, and/or travel emergencies.

Topics covered include fire building, hunting skills, outdoor cooking, water resources, hiking, shelter building, essential supplies, and first aid. Additional skills include shooting range safety, marksmanship, and wildlife conservation, - games included!

If extended care* options are not selected, drop-off is no earlier than 15 minutes before camp and pick-up is no later than 15 minutes after.

*Extended care is available for participants needing to be dropped off earlier than 8:15 am and/or picked up after 4:15 pm. Extended care is $5 per morning or evening, and offers the opportunity for quiet self-guided activities. Participants may bring meals/snacks, books, etc.
