Designed for the beginner and a great complement to jewelry making. Learn safety and the basic skill techniques to saw, grind, sand, and polish many different types of rock into cabochons. A cabochon is a gemstone which has been shaped and polished as opposed to faceted. The resulting form is usually a convex top with a flat bottom.
