Description
(Age 50+) 50+ Trips with Metro Parks Tacoma are a great way to explore new places around Tacoma and beyond. Join us for this stop in our mini trip series exploring international cafes and markets around Tacoma. This mini trip will pick up at the CENTER AT NORPOINT and go to Hess Bakery & Deli in Lakewood. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore grocery options and eat fresh food from this German bakery and delicatessen. Bring your friends or meet new ones along the way! The trip includes transportation from a MPT community center and an MPT staff member accompanying the trip. Food and beverages are not included so please be prepared to purchase those separately. The end time is an estimate and will be dependent on traffic. Space is limited, so sign up early to reserve your spot. ACCESSIBILITY CLAUSE: Participants need to be able to navigate paved walkways with minimal assistance and must have the ability to independently follow the trip schedule. If you have any accessibility concerns or need help determining if this program is right for you, please reach out for more information. We have a wheelchair accessible vehicle, but need to know in advance if this is required for your participation.
