Homeschool Ballet/Jazz Combo STAR

(Age 6-12) Building on basic skills in coordination, strength, flexibility and creativity, dancers learn barre work, positions, combinations. Dancers build ballet and jazz vocabulary and refine dance etiquette, gaining exposure to turns and leaps across the floor. At this level, students develop the ability to memorize choreography and perform without the assistance of an instructor. Dancers are introduced to performance techniques and work toward a greater understanding of spatial and body awareness. Through music, fun and games, instructors challenge each dancer and establish strong technique and poise. All Metro Arts dance classes focus on nurturing a love of dance for all students.
