Boating Safety Day-Hobie Safety Qualification

This class is perfect for experienced sailors who want to become qualified to rent Hobie Getaways at MBAC. After covering boating launching and rigging procedures you will set sail to verify your skills and practice a capsize recovery (be prepared to get in the water). Participants must already possess the skills to sail upwind and downwind in order to attend this training.

A swim assessment consisting of a 50 meter swim and comfortably treading water is required and will be completed during your lesson.
