Description
Stewarding the Land, Healing Ourselves
In the upheavals of the past two years, we have learned that the landscape is healing us, and are learning to appreciate how it, in return, needs to be healed. This year we examine humans’ role as stewards—of not just the land but the entire web of life--as global climate change looms.
Join us on Wednesday and Thursday to hear a variety of exciting speakers, including author Cynthia Barnett (RAIN: A Natural and Cultural History), horticulturist and author Abra Lee (Conquer the Soil: Black America and the Untold Stories of Our Country's Gardeners, Farmers, and Growers) and plantsman Bill Cullina, among others.
Wednesday and Thursday are hybrid programs--come in person to meet the speakers, greet old friends and make new ones--or join virtually in the comfort of your home or office. Recordings of Wednesday presentations will be available to online participants for a limited time.
This is an In-Person Ticket.
