Description
Students in Cello Beginnings start their cello journey in this engaging and well-structured group class. Upon completion, participants will be invited to join the Silver Spring Sinfonietta Orchestra. Fundamentals, such as holding the cello and bow, posture, pitch, rhythm, and beginning repertoire are introduced alongside fun activities and games. There will be time reserved at the end of each class for listening-both live and recorded performances.
Please note: Students are required to rent/purchase their own child-size cello.
