Flute Intensive

Geared towards middle and high school students, but open to all ages, the Levine Flute Intensive is a comprehensive musical experience for flute students with at least two years of playing experience and by recommendation of your teacher. Students will enjoy community within our own flute choirs – a junior-level and a senior-level - and connect with other students through chamber music with clarinet and trumpet camp students. Enjoy a myriad of engaging master classes, recitals, and so much more! The Levine Flute Intensive gives a glimpse of the fun and music Levine flute students enjoy all year long.

We’ll:

• Participate and perform in a variety of large ensembles (a junior-level and a senior-level flute choir), enjoy chamber music opportunities with clarinet and trumpet camp students, and learn in master classes led by distinguished faculty.

• Engage with Levine faculty and guest artists in optional private lessons.

• Expand our musical knowledge within various cultural and popular music styles.

• Explore the world of flute repair with world-renowned flute makers.

• Make friends and build a supportive social and musical community through fun, team-building activities.
