Description
The Levine Flute Intensive is a comprehensive musical experience for advanced middle and high school students. College and adult students are also welcome. The Levine Flute Intensive gives a glimpse of the music and fun Levine flute students enjoy all year long. We will:
- Build community with chamber music in flute ensembles.
- Expand our musical knowledge of the flute’s role in various cultural and popular music styles.
- Enhance our tone and technique in boot camp sessions.
- Perform in recitals and master classes led by distinguished faculty.
- Engage with Levine faculty and guest artists in optional private lessons.
- Explore the world of flute repair with world-renowned flute makers.
- Make friends and build a supportive social and musical community through fun, team-building activities.
