Description

Silver Spring String Orchestra, Beginner II, is a continuation of Beginner I. Open to string students (violin, viola, cello, and bass) who have begun their musical journey and can play on two strings, using at least three fingers. Our rehearsals will focus on performance and the development of ensemble skills with significant emphasis on the development of individual techniques relating to each instrument (violin, viola, or cello). In addition to full- ensemble coaching, there will be occasional sectionals. Two concerts are presented each year.

For all new students to the program, please follow this link to sign up for an initial placement interview: Levine String Orchestra at Silver Spring
