Martin Luther King Park: E-Girls Basketball

The department of Parks, Recreation, and Marine Youth Sports program exists to provide boys and girls in our community a variety of citywide recreational sports leagues that emphasize Sportsmanship, Fundamentals, Health and Wellness, Perseverance, and Teamwork. We believe that every child has something to play for and our role is providing that opportunity in a FUN, safe, and nurturing environment. Youth Sports Basketball is open to participants ages 5 (as of January 13, 2025), but no older than 14 (as of March 2, 2025). There is a non-optional $10 uniform fee for all players. Emphasis is placed on participation and skill development. Practices begin week of January 13, 2025. The season consists of six Saturday games starting January 25, 2025. Practice/Games Schedule information: Park staff will contact parent/guardians directly with practice times and dates. Game schedules will be posted on www.teamsideline.com/longbeach.
