Description
SUMMER NATURE CAMP
Come to Summer Nature Camp and have some fun in the sun all while learning about the natural world around us. Through age appropriate programs and activities the kids will experience the park by playing in the creek, going in search of buried treasure, and hiking Livermore’s hidden gem, Sycamore Grove Park. They will learn about everything from the solar system to tadpoles in the creek.
Ages: 5 - 12
Monday - Friday: 9am - 3pm
7/7 - 7/11 - Plant Week
This week let’s get to the root of some of the most abundant and essential species in Sycamore Grove: PLANTS! From the tallest oak trees to the smallest wildflowers, we’ll discover how to identify different plants in the park, what uses plants have to both people and animals, and even which wild plants are deliciously edible.
