KCE PONY BASEBALL

Join the 2025 KCE 7th-9th Grade Baseball League to increase the amount of competitiveness and fine-tune skills that were learned in Majors Baseball.

League details are TBD

KCE will be looking at either changing 2025 Pony Baseball to an in-house league or remaining in the Mel Harder League. It will depend on registration numbers and what the community prefers. Other rec community teams may join us if we get an in-house league running. If we do not get enough player registrations, teams will play in the Mel Harder League and will travel to other communities.

REGISTION

* Registration will open Wednesday, January 1st

* Registration deadline is midnight, Monday March 31st

* Registration cost is $175

* Cost goes up to $210 for players who register after the 3/31 deadline *

* No scheduling requests will be considered after the 3/31 deadline *

TEAMS/LEAGUE

* KCE will field 1-4 Pony baseball teams depending on registration numbers

* Teams will play either in house (based on numbers) or in the Mel Harder League

* Mel Harder Rules

COACHES

* Adult coaches are required for this division

* Register to coach

SEASON

* Outdoor practices will begin the week of April 21st weather permitting

* Last week of baseball will be the week of July 8th-13th

* Team will have 1-2 sessions per week

YOUTH NIGHT

The KHS Baseball Youth Night is TBD. All registered KCE baseball players are invited to attend.

PONY (7th-9th grade for the 2024-25 school year)

This division increases the amount of competitiveness and fine-tunes the skills that were introduced in Majors baseball. If teams play in the Mel Harder League, they will travel to other communities. If teams play in-house, all games will be played on Kenston campus. Teams will have 1-2 sessions per week.
