Description
KCE Coed Rec Basketball League
Player must be 4yrs old or in Kindergarten to participate
The purpose of Kenston Community Education Rec league is to teach the basic skills of basketball while having fun! This league is a shortened 5-week season that runs Nov - Dec.
KCE will also offer a 2nd PreK-K session in late Jan that will be a Sunday game-only league. This session will be a separate fee and will be available for registration on Dec 1st.
REGISTRATION
* Registration deadline is midnight Tue Oct 15th Monday October 28th
* Registration cost is $75
* A $35 late fee will be assessed to players who do not register by the 10/15 deadline *
* No scheduling requests will be considered after the 10/15 deadline *
SEASON
* Monday November 4th weekday practices begin
* Saturday November 9th first games
* Saturday December 14th final games
* No games Thanksgiving weekend
* Most games will be played on Saturdays
* KCE may need to hold some Sunday games depending on league size
PRACTICES
* Gardiner Center 9421 Bainbridge Road
* Teams will have one 1-hr weekday practice (1-2 teams at a time)
* Day/Time is dependent on gym availability and coach preference
* Weekday practices will begin the week of Nov 4th
PROJECTED GAMES
* All games will be played at Gardiner Center
* 1st Game - Nov 9th
* 2nd Game - Nov 16th
* 3rd Game - Nov 23rd
* No Games Thanksgiving Weekend
* 4th Game - Dec 7th
* 5th Game - Dec 14th
* KCE reserves the right to hold Sunday games dependent on league size
