Naturalists from the Ornithology Center at Eagle Creek Park would like to welcome all people who enjoy birds to come and celebrate accessibility with us on Saturday, May 7th at the Eagle's Crest. This event will begin with a short presentation about why accessibility is crucial for environmental education, followed by introductions, and finally a half-day long Big Sit at the Eagle’s Crest.
You do not need to arrive at the beginning of the event (9:00), nor do you need to stay until it ends (1:30 pm); however, you are more than welcome to drop-in and help us count birds at any time! The Eagle's Crest gate will be open for vehicles and this will be a great opportunity to check out the paved ADA-compliant 1-mile loop trail.
