Morning: Minecraft Modding: ages 6-9 & ages 10-14
Skill Level: Beg.-Int.
Create your own custom gameplay items and elements using MCreator and Minecraft. Create artwork for various items and implement into a game with custom behaviors. Design your own custom blocks, weapons, food, biomes, and more!
Afternoon: (Ages 6-9) Animation using Minecraft- Software:
Mine-imator Skill Level: Beg.
Younger students learn how characters move and look alive in movies and video games! They are introduced to basic 2D and 3D animation techniques using Minecraft characters and stages. Kids expand their perception, observation, and timing skills, as well as exercise their imagination and storytelling by studying motion in reality; then apply it to animation. Students learn how animators work by completing a variety of short animation exercises and projects. They apply acting theories and animation principles to scenes they create.
Afternoon: (Ages 10-14) Animation using Minecraft Software:
Mine-mator Skill Level: Beg.
Older students are introduced to basic 2D and 3D animation techniques using Minecraft characters and stages. Kids expand their observation skills and imagination by studying motion in reality and how it influences motion in animation. Older students learn about advanced tools and techniques. Students learn how animators work by completing a variety of short animation exercises and projects and apply basic acting theories and animation principles to scenes they create.
