Intro to Pipe Band Snare Drumming

This fall, the sounds of the Scottish Highlands are even more alive at Hochstein with our new Intro to Pipe Band Snare Drumming! In this introductory course, you will learn how to read music, play the practice pad, learn rudiments and learn basic rhythmic patterns that can eventually be played along with the bagpipes. At certain points of the year, the Highland Drumming participants will have the opportunity to combine with members of the Highland Bagpipes class.

NOTE: All students will need to purchase a pair of sticks and practice pad. Registrants will be provided with a link to study materials.
