Hill House United

Description

Hill House's Boston United is a travel soccer program for more dedicated soccer players looking to learn, compete, and advance their soccer skills. Teams will play against local town travel teams in the Boston Area Youth Soccer league (BAYS) during both the fall AND spring. Participation requires a significant commitment due to the travel involved, and the limited roster spots we are able to offer. Teams will be led by trusted Hill House coaches who will stay with the team for multiple seasons whenever possible.

TRYOUT REGISTRATION CLOSES MAY 1st at 10am

***This registration is for players entering grade 3 only. By registering, you are certifying your player will be in grade 3 next fall. Certification will be required for all players.***

  • Please arrive at 2:15 for check-in.
  • This try-out session will run Sunday, 5/04 from 2:30-4:00pm at Teddy Ebersol's Red Sox Fields.
  • Players should arrive in athletic clothing, with shin pads and non-metal cleats.
  • Teams will be announced by the end of month.
  • Please do not hesitate to reach out to John King at 617-227-5838 ext 140 or jking@hillhouseboston.org if you have any questions about tryouts or united travel soccer.
  • Linked below to the registration page and here are helpful resources that attempt to clarify expectations, but we're always happy to hop on the phone to talk through what might be best for each player.
  • Linked below to the registration page and here is also last year's official registration link for United Travel Soccer as another helpful reference point.
  • Our in-house soccer leagues in the fall will always be an option for players regardless of whether or not they commit to travel soccer with us. Sometimes these leagues are a much better fit for players and families who enjoy a simpler schedule and a fun playoff format to end the season.
  • Tryouts may seem intimidating but we're determined to avoid setting any players up for failure, and will do our best to make sure every player is placed on a team as long as we have enough players for multiple teams at the boys or girls grade 3 level if necessary.
  • If your player will be in 4th, 5th, or 6th grade next year then please reach out to the aforementioned contact to learn if tryouts are necessary for the team you're interested in.
