Mixed Media Tips & Tricks: Collage - T. Smith

Contemporary Collage: This class will teach a few of the common mixed media transfer techniques using items like packaging tape, acrylic paints, gel mediums, and various other exciting application for mixed media compositions. Participants will then use what was learned to create a contemporary mixed medium collage.

Supplies

· Acrylic paints (various colors)

· Clear packaging tape

· Gel Medium

· Masking tape

· Small spray bottle

· Watercolor or mixed media paper 140lbs in weight

· Mod podge

· Glue stick

· Scissors

· Paint brushes

· Old Magazines

· Old Newspapers

· Construction paper

· Scrapbook paper

· Any embellishments i.e., cowrie shells, buttons, coins, metallic leafing, etc. are optional
