Description
BRUSHY PEAK - Winter is coming… and that’s a great thing! When the weather starts to cool down, birds from the North make their way down South to places like the Bay Area to overwinter. Let’s be bird nerds and look for special birds that can only be found in the park this time of year, and year-round birds too. Bring your binoculars if you have some, hiking shoes, and your spotting skills. We welcome beginner birders and experienced ones too. Everyone is welcome.
By joining us you can take part in the longest running community service project by helping us record what birds we see and hear while at the park – the Christmas Bird Count goes from Dec. 14th through Jan. 15th.
