Description
If you love being outdoors, this is a great volunteer opportunity for you. Volunteers, as Assistant Camp Counselors, will help coordinate various nature activities, active team games, arts & crafts projects, mentoring campers, and supervising lunch/snack break & bathroom breaks also.
Volunteers must meet CCPR Staff at the designated park each day by 8:30am, and will be finished by 2:30pm.
The Parks Explorers Camp will be located at a different location each day. The locations consist of the following: Culpeper Sports Complex, Lenn Park, Mountain Run Lake Park, and Spilman Park. It is the volunteer's responsibility to have transportation arrangements for each day. Culpeper Parks & Recreation will not be providing transportation for volunteers.
Bring water and a bag lunch every day.
The camp participants will be on-site from 9am - 2pm.
