Description
THEME: "30 Year Anniversary!"
Youth (ages 3-17)
This year's contest theme is "30 Year Anniversary." Challenge yourself by incorporating the same object 30 times in a creative fall art piece. Art of all mediums will be prominently displayed at the 30th annual Elk Grove Giant Pumpkin Festival Art Walk.
All entries must remain on-site until 5pm on Sunday, October 6.
JUDGING CRITERIA: Interpretation of theme, Technical skill in creating the piece (age of artist will be taken into consideration), Creativity
First Place: $100
Second Place: $50
Third Place: $25
Crowd Favorite: $25
All entrants will receive a participation ribbon.
Contest entry is FREE, and registration must be completed by September 27.

RULES: Limit 2 entries per person; include the age of the entrant; entries can be made from any medium including photography, pastel, oils, pen, pencil, charcoal, acrylics, watercolor, mixed media and college; art submitted should be the sole work of the entrant. General festival information is available on-line at www.cosumnescsd.gov or (916)405-5600. Artists name and age should be on the back of the artwork. Artwork must be ready to hang. No glass inserts in framed pieces, please. Easels are allowed but must be labeled. Art can be dropped off to the Main Office (8820 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove CA 95624), Wackford Complex Center (9014 Bruceville Road, Elk Grove, CA 95758) or Albiani Recreation Center (8830 Sharkey Ave, Elk Grove, CA 95624.) The last day to submit will be Thursday October 3rd.
