MTYP Summer Intensive - Romeo and Juliet

Shakespeare’s famous comedy-turned-tragedy of doomed love takes a turn on our stage this summer. Due to overwhelming demand, our Majestic Theatre Youth Productions Summer Intensives are by audition only. Auditions will be held at the theatre on April 26th from 1-4pm. After roles are cast, there will be a meet-and-greet registration day on May 17th from 11am-2pm. Campers will begin rehearsals on July 21, meeting 12pm-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, until August 8th. They will work together with director Rachel Kohler and other Majestic staff members to create every part of the show from concept to costumes (to combat!) and perform it for friends, family, and the community on August 9th and 10th! This camp has space for between 20 and 25 actors.Auditions: April 26th, Saturday from 1:00-4:00 pm Performances: August 8, 9 at 7:00 pm
