Description
This class is designed for people who experience balance or walking
challenges as well as those interested in fitness walking or maintaining hiking
ability as they age. Learn to use poles to reduce joint pressure, enhance
uprightness and flexibility, and boost confidence in walking on a variety of
terrains. Includes both classroom instruction and outdoor practice.
Bring poles if you have them. Loaner poles available if registered by Friday, May 16 (please identify whether or not you need poles during registration).
Third class (Wed, May 28) will be held outdoors at Martin Luther King Jr park.
Activity meeting dates
May 21 and 23 held at Walnut Community Room.
May 28 class meets at the Walnut Barn in MLK Park.
Class from 1:30–3pm.
