Intro to Mending Workshop

Come learn how to repair and breathe new life into clothing using hand-sewing techniques (no prior experience required). This two day class will give you a better understanding of fabric types, mending approaches, and the tools needed to create durable and beautiful repairs with confidence. A variety of supplies and tools will be available for in-class use and each student will take home a small mending kit. Feel free to bring a woven (e.g. denim, non-stretchy cotton) item in need of repair on day 1 and a knit/stretch (e.g. t-shirt, socks) item on day 2.
