Description

Start your child on the path to lifelong musicianship! Designed for children ages 4 - 6, Intro to Suzuki is both a parent education and musical enrichment program. This course, which serves as a prerequisite for Suzuki instruction at The Music Settlement, will answer any questions you have about becoming a Suzuki parent.

Intro to Suzuki includes fun musical activities for parents and students, demonstrations of instruments offered in the Suzuki Program, and parent discussions about the Suzuki philosophy. After completion of this course and required observations, students will be assigned to an instructor. Due to the popularity of the program, some students may have to be waitlisted.

Intro to Suzuki begins on Sunday, July 27th with a parent-only session from 3:30 - 4:30pm. Parents and children will meet Monday through Friday from 10:40 am - 12:30 pm. This course concludes with the final concert on Saturday, August 2nd at 10 am.
