Description
Music Safari Camp is an ideal setting for young children to be introduced to musical instruments. During this week of musical exploration, campers will engage with several families of instruments including strings, winds, brass, percussion, and keyboard. Campers will experience the instruments through hands-on learning and participate in musical games and crafts. This camp is a great opportunity to discover which instruments your camper connects with before investing in private instruction. Previous musical experience is not required.
Inclusion options and supportive programming may be available to assist campers with disabilities, for an additional fee. Please call The Music Settlement's Center for Music Therapy at 216-421-5806 ext.104 or email CMetlicka@TheMusicSettlement.org to discuss whether camp has the potential to be a successful experience for your child. Please note an individual assessment may be required for anyone new to The Music Settlement. The Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship is not an eligible fund for inclusion in this camp.
