Description
J@MS Ensemble is a weekly program for students that immerses them in the energy and excitement of Jazz music. Musicians enrolled in the Ensemble program participate in Small Combo and Large Ensemble (Big Band).
Musicians will explore a range of inspiring and challenging material under the direction of our professional faculty. Students gain valuable performance experience throughout the year at concerts and special events.
Prerequisite: Audition and prior approval from ensemble director. All new students must complete an audition. Click here to submit an audition request form.
Students who have previously participated in this ensemble do not need to complete an audition. Please contact Ken LeeGrand for approval and then click the "Enroll Now" button to proceed.

The J@MS Program expands upon the Ensemble into a full-day immersion program. In addition to ensemble work, students will take classes in History of African American Music, Theory, and Improvisation. Click here for more information.
