Description
The Chicago Park District is committed to identifying and training swimmers from around the city. We will teach you the required skills and provide supervised practice time needed to successfully pass the lifeguard test, and become eligible to be hired as a Chicago Park District Lifeguard. Open to all 15 - 22 year old. Participants who complete all fifteen classes and attempt the Lifeguard Skills test will receive a $475 stipend.

Notes
This class is required for employment as a Chicago Park District lifeguard. Participants are required to purchase a pocket mask and American Red Cross training materials, which are included in the cost of the class.
10 Sessions are scheduled. The remaining 5 sessions will be arranged on site amongst the Instructor and participants.
