Skateboard Camp at Maggie Daley

Skateboard Camp is a hands-on introductory “course” that covers skateboarding basics and more. Industry Pro/am instructors will educate participants on proper equipment, safety, start-up techniques, basic skills that promote knowledge of skateboarding and skill growth for all participants. Training will promote interest in and understanding of the sport. Our main goal is to keep it fun and positive for the kids.

The lesson plan will include;

• Skateboard stance, balance and pushing

• Where to practice skateboarding

• Beginner tips

• The Basics: How to fall, push, turn, stop, manual, Ollie, drop-in, etc.
